Pre-concert talks

New this season, Music Director Thomas Heuser will give 30-minute talks one hour before each concert. These are in addition to the Wednesday Musically Speaking presentations held in different locations a few days before the weekend concerts.
In Durango, the pre-concert talks will take place in Center of Southwest Studies on the Fort Lewis College campus. In Farmington, the pre-concert talks are held in a room near Henderson Performance Hall.

WHAT: “Absolute Refinement,” San Juan Symphony, Music Director Thomas Heuser, works by Mozart, Prokofiev and Mendelssohn.

WHEN/Where: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive; 3 p.m. Sunday, Henderson Performance Hall, Sunrise Parkway, Farmington.

TICKETS: Concert Hall single tickets range from $16 for students to $55 for adults. Season tickets: Students $58 to adults $198. Farmington: Single tickets $8-$25. Season tickets from $29 for students to $90 for adults.
