Denton Signs under new ownership
Denton Signs, located at 545 Turner Drive, Suite C, in Bodo Industrial Park, announces a change of ownership.
Jonathan Hammel, who has been the chief designer and fabricator for the last 11 years, now owns and operates the business.
Denton Signs has been serving the Four Corners for more than 25 years.

Speed networking event to be held Thursday
Speed Networking for Busy Business Women will start at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Durango Community Recreation Center.
The event is presented by the First Southwest Bank of Durango and sponsored by Thrive: A Wellness Center and the Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center at Fort Lewis College. The evening will be structured like a speed-dating event, only participants will exchange business information in four-minute conversations.
The event is limited to the first 50 women who register at the door. Entry is $10, and proceeds benefit the Womens Resource Center.

Prudential Broker receives certification
Darlene Marcus, broker associate of Prudential Triple S Realty in Durango, recently received the Certified Business Intermediary designation during the International Business Brokers Association Conference for Professional Development in Orlando, Fla.
Marcus participated in at least 80 credit hours of courses and passed a comprehensive exam.

Dr. Whitney Pack joins Pediatric Assoc.
Dr. Whitney W. Pack will join Pediatric Associates of Durango on Monday.
Dr. Pack is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She grew up in Nevada, New Mexico and Utah, and attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
Dr. Pack completed her residency training at Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital in Cleveland.
She and her husband, a dentist, Howard Pack, are returning to the Southwest and starting their respective practices. She is accepting new patients.
